Tuesday, the day before your operation around 19h00 (7pm)
The Tuesday before your operation around 19h00 (7pm) your will have your preoperative consult in the o2 Clinic. Please note that this consultation is medico-legally obliged. You can talk one more time about the procedures, preoperative pictures are taken, some administrative documents have to be filled in and you will receive your postoperative medication and icepacks.
In case you need an I-cat (CT-scan), please arrange to be in Antwerp at noon. You have to go to "AZ Monica". On the 6th floor you'll the department of Maxillofacial surgery. The address is "Harmoniestraat 68, Antwerp".

Wednesday, operation day
You have an overnight stay in the o2 Clinic. This is always included in the proposal. Your partner can sleep in the same room for a supplemental 40 euro a night (to be paid in the hospital itself). The double rooms are limited, so book asap.
Thursday, day 1 after your operation
Dr Defrancq will visit you in the morning in the hospital (around 8am).
Friday, day 2 after your operation
Check-up with Dr Defrancq in his consultation room in the o2 Clinic.
Tuesday around 19h00 (7pm), day 6 after your operation
Final check-up with Dr Defrancq in his consultation room in the o2 Clinic. Pictures for the medical records are taken. You’re ready to return home tomorrow. Most stitches are self-dissolvable.
Wednesday, day 7 after your operation
After a good night's rest you are ready to fly home!
After 4 months
We would like to see you back for a check-up after 4 months in Antwerp, or any other city where we consult.
