About this case
Fien is a nice, open, friendly, charming woman from the Netherlands. She came to see Dr Defrancq years ago since she could not find a practice which was willing to help her the way she wanted it. Her dream was to get rid of her failing teeth. She did not like the idea of overdentures or some implants. No. She wanted fixed teeth and preferably in porcelain.
So the classic schedule was explained and we started: General anaesthesia, total extraction, curettage and bone levelling, implant placement and impression-takings with indexing instructions for the lab.
Two days later Dr Defrancq did the pass in wax. He adjusted some things and on day 5 she went home with the fixed provisional appliance in chrome-cobalt. Three months later Dr Defrancq made for her the porcelain bridge work on the implants.
A most rewarding and beautiful outcome.
